This kit includes a specialty, low-pressure tire gauge. Ordinary tire gauges for automotive use don't measure low pressure accurately enough to be effective on our unique low-pressure wheels that have an ideal pressure range of 2.5 – 3.0 psi (0.17 – 0.20 bar). This gauge is also useful for other low-pressure applications like inflatables or tubes.
Using a hand pump helps prevent over-inflation. Using a high-pressure air fill such as ones found at a gas station will overinflate and likely damage these low-pressure wheels.
Our unique valve caps keep your air-fill valves clean and clear of contaminants that can cause air leaks. In addition, these caps serve as valve core removal/tightening tool.
Note: This pressure gauge is a specialty, low-pressure gauge that is very difficult to find. Please do not compare this gauge with inexpensive gauges available in retail stores. Gauges sold in retail stores will not accurately measure pressure low enough to work on Wheeleez balloon wheels.
