Shipping Policy

You can trust that your order will be quickly processed and safely delivered. Many of our products ship from different warehouses across the country, and we work with trusted carriers to get your boating and nautical products to you as efficiently as possible.

Shipping Methods & Carriers

SSNautical.com primarily offers UPS Ground and FedEx Ground shipping options at checkout. Because not all products or warehouses are able to ship with every carrier, we may occasionally ship your order via a different carrier than the one you selected.

If you absolutely require a specific carrier for delivery, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-513-1695 before placing your order so we can review your options.

Shipping Charges

  • Freight / shipping charges will be added to all orders. Common Carrier / Motor Freight shipments may be subject to additional crating or boxing charges.
  • Our shipping charges are determined by the total weight and size of your order and the destination address.
  • The shipping cost shown during the checkout process is an estimate. For oversized items, multi-box shipments, or special destinations, the final shipping cost may differ from the estimate.
  • If shipping has not been calculated properly, you will be billed the actual shipping charges. When there is a significant difference from the estimate, we will contact you to review the updated amount and discuss options before processing.

Order Processing & Transit Times

  • Many items ship from different warehouses or directly from the manufacturer. Processing and transit times may vary by product.
  • When available, estimated ship times are provided on product pages or during checkout. Certain custom or made-to-order items may require additional production time.
  • Most orders ship Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays.

Damaged Shipments

We carefully package orders, but damage can occasionally occur in transit. If you receive goods in a damaged condition:

  • Please contact us within 5 business days of receipt so we can assist you.
  • Keep all packaging materials and the damaged items until your claim is resolved. We may ask you to provide photos or other proof of damage as a condition of refund or replacement.
  • We will file a freight claim on your behalf with the appropriate shipping company (UPS, FedEx, or other carrier). Freight claims can take up to 7 business days for review.
  • Based on the outcome of the freight claim, we may either issue you a credit for the amount paid for the damaged goods or send replacement goods at our discretion.

Coupon & Discount Codes

  • Coupon and discount codes may not be stacked. Only one code may be used per order.

FOB & Terms of Sale

  • All shipments are generally FOB shipping point – prepaid and charged.
  • Once your order is picked up by the carrier, risk of loss transfers to the customer. We will, however, assist you in working with the carrier if a shipment is lost or damaged in transit.
  • By using this website and placing an order, you also agree to our Terms of Service.
